Applications Still Open!
We are still accepting applications on a rolling basis and will continue to review applications until all fellowship positions have been filled. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a completed application by September 3, 2026, to have a broad choice of site placement.
Applicants are screened on the basis of their career goals and on the recommendations of faculty from their medical schools and residency programs.
Each application must include:

Applicant's current CV

Three letters of recommendation submitted by faculty who are familiar with the applicant's qualifications (One letter must be from the Director of your current or most recent clinical training program)

2027 ENTRY PROGRAM CALENDAR

Early September: Applicants will be notified about whether they are invited to interview.

September 17-18, 2026: Individual and group interviews.

December 1, 2026 (Anticipated): Application deadline for Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Master’s Program

February 1, 2027 (Anticipated): Application deadline for 2027 Program in Clinical Effectiveness

July 1, 2027: 2027 Fellowship begins

INTERVIEW AND SELECTION PROCESS
Individual and group interviews will be held on Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18, 2026 via Zoom. All applicants will be notified by early September if they are invited to interview. During the interviews, candidates will have the opportunity to learn about program components at each of the participating fellowship sites. As part of the selection process, accepted applicants are matched to a participating fellowship site by mutual preference.
Fellows who are accepted into the Program are then required to complete a formal application to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health by December 1st, prior to their fellowship year. Please see the curriculum page for more information.
